Steel Chains or Rope
You need either steel chains or rope to hand your swing in the porch. The new swing always comes with hanging chains and ropes. If you want to replace the old one with the new one, make sure that the styles and visual appeal of chains match with the décor of your home. Steel chains are durable and they last long. But if you want rustic style, then you should consider investing in the rope. If you are using rope, then make sure that it is at least ¾ inches thick.
Hanger Kits
